We are delighted to announce that Materials Engineering at Lodz University of Technology has been awarded the A+ scientific category as part of the evaluation of the quality of scientific activity for the years 2022–2025.
The A+ category is the highest scientific category awarded to academic disciplines in Poland and confirms the outstanding quality of the research conducted, its importance for the advancement of science, and its impact on the socio-economic environment.
This exceptional distinction is the result of many years of consistent work and commitment by the entire Materials Engineering community — researchers, doctoral students, and staff supporting research and organisational activities.
The result reflects the discipline’s outstanding scientific achievements, the high quality of its publications, the successful implementation of research projects, and its active cooperation with industry and the wider socio-economic environment.
