  • Piotr Komorowski, PhD
  • Bartłomiej Gostyński, PhD
  • Prof. Bogdan Walkowiak

During the first two days of the meeting, the project partners presented the progress achieved across all eight work packages, discussing the research results obtained so far and the next stages of the project.

An important part of the meeting was also devoted to discussing effective ways of disseminating research results among representatives of industry, European Union institutions and policymakers responsible for shaping policies related to advanced materials and sustainable technologies.

On the third day, the stakeholder event “Advanced Materials: How to Go from Data to Design through the Scope of SSbD?” was held. The event focused on the use of research data in the safe and sustainable design of new materials and products in accordance with the Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) concept.

The meeting brought together representatives of industry, the scientific community and other European projects working in the field of sustainable development.

The participation of Lodz University of Technology researchers in the CheMatSustain General Assembly is an important element of international cooperation and the implementation of the project. CheMatSustain aims to develop innovative solutions supporting the development of safe and sustainable materials for the future.
