The Institute of Materials Engineering at Lodz University of Technology is hosting students from Ecuador, Belgium, and Austria as part of the international IAESTE exchange programme.
They represent the following universities:
🔹 Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL)
🔹 Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ)
🔹 BOKU University
During their stay, they are joining research teams at:
the Department of Advanced Materials and Composites (headed by Prof. Łukasz Kaczmarek), and
the Department of Numerical Methods in Materials Engineering (led by Prof. Jacek Sawicki).
Together, they are working on research projects involving, among others, the optimization of TPMS (Triply Periodic Minimal Surfaces) structures and modern methods of graphene synthesis.
An intensive summer lies ahead – full of science, inspiration, and international collaboration.
For these young scientists, it’s a fantastic opportunity to exchange knowledge and build global connections!
